Citizen Kinetics is a one man band from London, and that one man is me, Nick Majer :)

The reason I make music is simple. It’s for the chills. For as long as I can remember, the songs that make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up are the ones I listen to the most, and ever since the first time I caught that wave, I’ve been wanting to catch it again and again. The idea was to learn to play, to write songs, and create that same feeling. There is not much more to it than that.

I have learned to play and record all instrumentation on my tracks, recently teaming up with Mercury music award nominated producer Joss Worthington of Distant City Studios (who produced the nominated album Spook the Herd by the band Lanterns on the Lake in 2020) with the ongoing plan to continue to work together moving forward.
